Biography

Jordan Brandt joined the Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) as Interim Director in 2021. In this role, she is responsible for advancing KU’s student equity and inclusion efforts, overseeing OMA program and service development, and preparing the office for its next director.

Jordan is elated to be back in the OMA as she previously worked in the office as a Graduate Assistant and as a full-time employee. Prior to returning to the OMA as the Interim Director, she served as the Assistant Director in the Academic Retention and Engagement Center where she supported historically marginalized and underserved student populations. Jordan received a Master's in Higher Education Administration from KU and obtained a B.A. in Health & Human Physiology from the University of Iowa.

A proud product of the Southside of Chicago, during Jordan's free time she can be found spending time with her grandmother, trying new local restaurants, traveling, working out, and/or napping. Feel free to send Jordan you favorite vacation destinations!
