Identities Symposium

Saturday, October 15th // 9:30 am - 3:00 pm

We live in a diverse and complex society. Contributing to this complexity are the identities shaped by differences within, and intersections among, one's race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, nationality, class, ability and religion.

The Office of Multicultural Affairs invites you to join us for the 5th annual Identities Symposium. The 2016 event will be on Saturday, October 15th from 9:30 am - 3:00 pm at the Sabatini Multicultural Resource Center (SMRC). This powerful conference will focus on students' identities, specifically how each student's story is crucial to creating a community at KU.

The symposium is designed to enhance your social justice and leadership skills. Be prepared to have honest and constructive conversation on various issues college students are facing today.

Please email Lucy Cummings  to register, and with any questions regarding accommodations. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
